The Board of Management (BoM) is the policymaking organ of the Center. The BoM is tasked to ensure that the center functions within its mandate, preserves its values, and operates as a reputable corporate entity. The BoM is responsible for providing general oversight of the strategic plan of the center, and ensuring regular review of the institution’s general overall performance of its business and operations, policy formulation, compliance, strategy formulation and implementation and endorsing the development of new programs by the center. Until LIMPAC is fully autonomous, the Minister of Finance and Development Planning shall retain the chairmanship of the Board of Directors
The Executive Director is appointed by the Board of Management through a competitive recruitment process to ensure that the programme of work and activities of the Center are coordinated and implemented in accordance with the policies and decisions adopted by the Board. The Executive Director manages the day-to-day activities of the Center including supervisions for both the research and administrative aspects of LIMPAC He/she is assisted by a Deputy Executive Director, Senior Research Fellow, Finance and Administration Manager, coordinates, guides and manages the day to day activities of the Center. The Center’s research agenda is executed by the Executive Director and the Principal Research Fellow with support from other staff researchers and researchers from national and international collaborating institutions.
